Tokayev Welcomes Truce In The Middle East

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has welcomed the truce agreement reached in the Middle East and expressed hope that it will prove long-lasting for the sake of global trade and the economic prosperity of all countries, Orda.kz reports.
Presidential press secretary Aibek Smadiyarov said the agreement had become possible thanks to the goodwill and wisdom of Donald Trump, Iran’s top leadership and all the countries involved in the military conflict.
Earlier, the United States and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire after mediation by Pakistan. Talks between the sides are expected to take place in Islamabad on April 10.
