Tokayev Arrives in Moscow

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Moscow on May 8 for a working visit, Orda.kz reports.
Tomorrow, the president will take part in events marking the 81st anniversary of Victory Day.
Earlier, the Kremlin described the upcoming visit as a “friendly step,” according to presidential press secretary Aibek Smadiyarov.
As part of the visit, a separate meeting between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin is planned. The heads of state will discuss key issues of strategic cooperation ahead of the Russian president’s visit to Kazakhstan, scheduled for the end of May,he wrote.
