Tleuberdi and Lavrov Discussed Recent International Events in Astana
The foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and Russia report that a telephone conversation between Foreign Ministers Mukhtar Tleuberdi and Sergey Lavrov took place.
The ministers summed up the results of the international events in Astana with the participation of the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, i.e. the Council of Heads of State of the CIS Member States, the CICA summit, and the first "Russia-Central Asia" summit.
They also outlined further steps to implement the agreements reached.
The ministers also discussed the preparations for the upcoming events within the framework of the CSTO.
"The conversation traditionally took place in a frank, friendly atmosphere, characteristic of the high level of relations between the two countries,"
