Several world records were set in the southern capital during the days of Nauryz celebration, Orda.kz reports.
The main symbol was the largest shanyrak, which was officially included in the international register of achievements.
The solemn registration took place before the start of the festive concert in the Park of the First President. The shanyrak installed in the center of the park impresses with its size: its height exceeds 11 meters, and the diameter is more than 20 meters.

The record was placed by the international book Global Best of Records.
The Global Best of Records Book of Records is among the famous world registers along with the Guinness Book of Records. Our book is one of the largest in the world and unites 89 countries.said Kuandyk Kudaibenov, chief officer of the record registration unit in Asia and Africa.
A syrmak (traditional Kazakh handmade felt carpet with patterns) with a length of more than 100 meters was also prepared for this event, becoming another bright element of the holiday.
The achievements did not end there. Two more world records in national sports were also placed.
Dinara Saydalina showed a unique result in archery while riding a jumping camel. At a speed of almost 36 km/h, she accurately hit all four targets. The achievement is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.

Another achievement belongs to Yernar Zhasuzak. In the discipline of "jigitovka", he covered 500 meters at a speed of over 43 km/h, riding a horse standing and without the use of his hands.
A feature of the performance was the lack of manual control: the rider held the reins with his teeth, fully controlling the movement of the horse and maintaining balance. The achievement is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.

The festive program was supplemented by the kokpar competition, where the gold cup was won by the Zhetysu team. There were also traditional folk games – asyk atu, arkan tartu and Kazakh kuresi.
This year Nauryz was remembered not only for the holiday atmosphere, but also for the achievements that have already entered world history.
