Third Day: Protests in Georgia
The third day of protests in Tbilisi, as Newsgeorgia notes, passed without a law enforcement crackdown.
The protests ended in the morning. This time, there were no clashes, writes news Georgia.
Protests started in Georgia over the disputed election results.
Zurab Japaridze, a leader of the Coalition for Change, believes a new form or place for protesting is needed:
They have changed their strategy, they allow us to block Melikishvili. They say that this does not cause them discomfort... We decided to move the event, think about another place or form of protest that would cause them more discomfort, Japaridze said.
Despite the end of the three-day protests, the opposition does not intend to stop challenging the election results.
