Nadezhda Rossinskaya has been in pre-trial detention since February of this year on charges of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Orda.kz reports.
On October 2, in Russia, two people were added to the list of terrorists and extremists; one is Nadezhda Rossinskaya. As indicated in the list, the Rossinskaya was born in 1995 in Temirtau.
Volunteer Nadezhda Rossinskaya, known as Nadine Geisler, has been in pre-trial detention for over six months. Russian authorities accuse her of financing the Ukrainian military.
According to 7×7, before the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Rossinskaya was a photographer and model. In 2022, she created the volunteer group "Army of Beauties". Its members helped animals out of the occupied territories of Ukraine and sent humanitarian aid there.
As of 2023, Rossinskaya lived in Georgia, but in early 2024, she returned to the Russian Federation, presumably to personally help animals out of Melitopol. During this visit, the FSB detained her on suspicion of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is considered a crime in Russia.
