Teenager Killed in Talgar: Police Dispell Rumors About Alleged Organized Crime Group's Involvement
After the killing of a 16-year-old teenager in Talgar, rumors emerged that the suspects were part of a criminal group, Orda.kz reports.
Supposedly, the group in Talgar is called the "Khutors." Their members allegedly have connections in law enforcement agencies. However, the Almaty Region Police Department has refuted these rumors.
Acting Head of the Almaty Region Police Department Serik Shalkharov once again clarified that an investigation is underway under the article "Homicide Committed by a Group of Persons Against a Minor." But there is no talk of an organized crime group, he says.

On the night of October 4, 16-year-old Sherzat Polat was killed near the Kamazhay store in Talgar. The attackers fled before the police arrived. Seven suspects were detained the next day.
