A Taldykorgan court has sentenced a father of many children to life imprisonment for the sexual abuse of his underage daughter, Orda.kz reports.
The victim, the eldest of four children, endured eight years of abuse. According to investigators, she remained silent out of fear — her father had threatened to kill her mother and siblings if she spoke out.
The crime came to light when the girl’s mother caught her husband in the act and immediately called the police. Law enforcement confirmed that the other children were not harmed.
In court, the 39-year-old defendant pleaded not guilty, but forensic evidence and witness testimony proved otherwise.
The man was found guilty under Article 121 of Kazakhstan’s Criminal Code (sexual assault) and sentenced to life imprisonment.
