Since April 20, 2024, Tajik citizens have been required to obtain a visa to enter Türkiye, following the cancellation of the long-standing visa-free agreement between the two countries. The Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced a reciprocal visa requirement for holders of ordinary Turkish international passports.
