Stary Koluton Village Cut Off by Flooding, Response Operations Underway

The village of Stary Koluton in the Astrakhan district of Aqmola region has been cut off from transportation access due to flooding of the Koluton River, Orda.kz reports, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the past 24 hours, rescuers evacuated 21 people by motorboat, including pregnant women.

The Ministry also reported that over 1,000 bags of inert materials were used to reinforce the riverbank, and 300 cubic meters of water were pumped out.
Additionally, 21 cows and around 100 sheep were relocated to safe areas.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to supervise the situation. Rescue and reinforcement operations are ongoing around the clock.
