The son of Karzhaubay Nurymov's sister, Bakhyt Reimova, recorded an appeal to the President, Orda reports.
He asks not to deport his mother from Kazakhstan. She was arrested on charges of calling for a rally.
The young man says he has no one except his mother, and if she leaves the country, he will not be able to see her for five years.
She is my only provider, and I am a minor. I am in the 11th grade. We have no other home except Kazakhstan. We are Kazakhs, and I want to serve my country. If my mother is deported, we will not be able to see each other for five years. I ask you to take control of this matter, said Meirbek Reimov.
More than two months have passed since 16-year-old Sherzat Polat's death in Talgar.
On the night of December 9, the body of his uncle, 30-year-old Nurganat Gaipbayev, was found on the outskirts of the city.
According to the preliminary version, he committed suicide.
