Sherzat Polat Case: 170 People Questioned

Majilis deputy Abzal Kuspan made a statement on the case concerning Sherzat Polat and his uncle, Orda reports.
In his address, he called on the public to be cautious in their assessments and trust official sources.
Kuspan said he visited the Almaty region with the deputy Doctor of Law Unzila Shapak.
As part of the trip, they met with the regional prosecutor, Berik Abyzbayuly, and the head of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs, Meiram Zhumkenuly.
The Majilis deputy emphasized that societal pressure could affect the investigation's objectivity.
According to the prosecutor's office, 11 people have been detained on suspicion of intentional homicide.
More than 170 witnesses have also been questioned, and about 40 examinations have been ordered.
The deputy has assured that the investigation will thoroughly investigate the circumstances, including the death of Sherzat Polat’s uncle.
