Severe Heat Expected in Parts of Kazakhstan

According to Kazhydromet, temperatures exceeding +40°C are expected in several regions of the country, Orda.kz reports.
Forecasters say that in the coming days, Kazakhstan’s weather will be split between contrasting conditions. One part of the country will see heavy precipitation, while the other will experience dry and hot weather.
Rains and thunderstorms are expected in the west, north and east of the country. On July 22 and 24, in the west of the country, there will be heavy rains, hail and squalls during the day. In the rest of the territory, there will be hot weather without precipitation,
Kazhydromet reported.
Additionally, wind speeds are expected to rise across the country, with dust storms possible in the southern and southeastern regions.
Forecasters predict daytime temperatures above +30°C in almost all areas.
Severe heat is expected during the day in the west of the country – 35–39 degrees, in the southwest – 38–42 degrees, in the central regions – 35–38, in the south of the republic – 40–42 degrees, in the southeast – 35–39,
the forecast says.
Kazhydromet has issued warnings of extremely high temperatures in the Almaty region and southern parts of Aqtobe.
