Senator Zhanbolat Zhorgenbayev “Distant” Khasan Kasymbayev's Relative, Dismisses Rumors

The senator stated this to Tengrinews.kz, noting that he is a distant relative but did not maintain regular contact and only crossed paths with him at family celebrations or funerals, Orda.kz reports.
Senator Zhorgenbayev noted that he did not try to influence the investigation into Khasan Kasymbayev's case.
I want to officially state that I did not contact anyone and did not take any steps to ensure that the now former head of the Talgar district office, Aslan Kasymbayev, retained his position. Moreover, I do not influence or try to influence the course of the investigation regarding Khasan Kasymbayev in any way,
MP Zhanbolat Zhorgenbayev said.
Senator Zhanbolat Zhorgenbayev was born in the Kegen district of the Almaty region and began his career as an engineer.
He left the post of Kaskelen's deputy Akim in 2003 and managed several private companies. A year before Qantar, he became the Almaty region Maslikhat secretary, where he worked until May 2022. Then, he was elected as a deputy to the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Almaty region.
Senator Zhorgenbayev has pledged to hold those who spread defamation in the media and social networks accountable.
