Security Council Situation Center Head Relieved

Amangeldy Omarbekov has been relieved of his duties as head of the Situation Center under the Security Council of Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports.
The decision was made by presidential decree.
By order of the Head of State, Omarbekov Amangeldy Orazalynovich has been relieved of his post as head of the situation center of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
Aqorda reported on June 13.
The Situation Center operates as an analytical hub, tracking developments in the economy, society, and politics. According to Aqorda, it monitors everything from financial security to demographic risks and provides decision-makers with timely insights for swift response and policy enforcement.
Omarbekov took charge of the center in August 2022, following the January unrest.
