The National Security Committee has denied claims circulating on social media about the existence of a Telegram bot allegedly created to monitor “anti-patriotic rhetoric,” Orda.kz reports.
According to the committee, a fake “official statement” appeared online, alleging that Kazakhstan had developed a Telegram bot to collect data on individuals calling for a boycott of the “Immortal Regiment” rally, promoting anti-patriotic views, or “dividing society.”
This 'statement' is fake and the information contained in it does not correspond to reality,
the press service of the National Security Committee stated
The committee urged citizens to rely solely on verified sources and avoid spreading misinformation.
Official information from the National Security Committee is published exclusively on the website knb.gov.kz, the Telegram channel knbgov_kz and the Instagram account knbgovkz,
the statement emphasized.
