Rustami Emomali Holds Talks With Kazakh President

Rustami Emomali met with the President of Kazakhstan in his capacity as chairman of the upper house of parliament, Orda.kz reports.
The meeting between Qasym-Jomart Toqayev and Rustami Emomali took place on August 26 at Aqorda.
The son of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Astana as chair of the upper chamber — the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli.
During the meeting, they discussed current matters of trade and economic cooperation, the water industry and inter-parliamentary diplomacy, Aqorda's statement says.
In addition, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev awarded Rustami Emomali the Order of Dostyq, Second Class. Emomali, in turn, congratulated the President of Kazakhstan on the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Constitution.
