Russia's Interior Ministry has identified three senior Rusnano executives arrested in an ongoing investigation into financial misconduct, Orda reports, citing ASTRA.
The following were detained:
- Boris Podolsky, Executive Director
- Artur Galstyan, Managing Director for Finance
- Marina Kasenkova, Director of Accounting Methodology, Taxation and Reporting
They are suspected of abuse of authority, resulting in severe consequences.
According to investigators, in 2017, the executives allegedly provided distorted financial information to Rusnano's sole shareholder - the Russian Federation.
They did so to conceal poor economic performance, allowing them to retain previously issued state guarantees and secure additional government funding.
The state had allocated e over 43 billion rubles (approximately $470 million) to the corporation between 2022-2024.
The arrests follow earlier reports of detentions of several former deputies who served under ex-Rusnano head Anatoly Chubais, though their names were not disclosed at the time.
