Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy is evaluating repair work and other flexible measures to reduce oil production in line with OPEC+ quotas, Orda.kz reports, citing TASS.

The Ministry is exploring a range of technical options for temporarily scaling back output.

“Kazakhstan is considering all possible options to comply with its obligations and compensate for excess volumes,” the Ministry stated.

While over 70% of the country's oil production is managed by international consortiums outside the government's direct control, Kazakhstan's authorities have maintained they are committed to OPEC+.
