Russian Envoy Claims Xi Expected at Moscow Victory Day

Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov said President Xi Jinping intends to visit Moscow for the 80th Victory Day celebrations on May 9, Orda reports, citing Interfax.
According to Morgulov, Xi has also extended an invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit China for commemorations of Japan's World War II surrender.
Beijing has not confirmed these reported plans.
