Following their recent Saudi Arabia meeting, Russian and American officials are preparing for another round of diplomatic discussions within the next two weeks, Orda reports, citing RIA Novosti.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov confirmed that both sides have agreed in principle to address ongoing bilateral tensions through comprehensive consultations.
The upcoming talks, scheduled to take place in an as-yet-undetermined third country, aim to systematically address what Ryabkov termed "irritants" in the relationship.
Russia has already outlined its initial approach during the Riyadh meeting and is awaiting the U.S. side's consideration of these proposals.
This development follows a meeting in Riyadh on February 18, which brought together high-ranking officials from both nations.
