Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported one of the largest missile and drone attacks on Kyiv since the start of the full-scale war, Orda.kz reports.
According to Zelenskyy, Russia launched at least 550 drones and missiles in a coordinated overnight assault.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that at least 23 people were injured. Residents spent the night sheltering.

The strikes were not limited to Kyiv. Other regions affected include Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and the broader Kyiv region.
Our capital has once again become the target of a large-scale attack. This is further proof that without strong pressure, Russia will not change its destructive course. Much now depends on our partners — first and foremost, the United States,
Zelenskyy wrote in a statement.
The assault came shortly after a call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump emphasized the need to end the war as soon as possible, while Putin purportedly reiterated that Russia would not abandon its goals.
Following the call, Trump expressed disappointment:
I didn’t make any progress at all, he said, indicating he intends to speak with Zelenskyy directly.
He also denied reports that the U.S. had paused weapons deliveries to Ukraine, despite the Pentagon’s recent decision to suspend shipments and a White House Secretary confirming it.
