Russia Denies Intending to Hit Poland; Trump Weighs In on Truth Social

Russia’s Defense Ministry said the overnight drone strikes were aimed at Ukraine’s defense industry facilities, not Poland, Orda.kz reports, citing the agency.
The ministry claimed that the drones involved had a maximum range of 700 kilometers, making it “technically impossible” for them to reach NATO territory.
Moscow also expressed readiness to hold consultations with Poland’s Defense Ministry on the issue.
The Russian military acknowledged targeting Ukraine’s Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions during the strike campaign.
