Russia Claims ATACMS Used

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that ATACM strikes have been employed, but Ukraine has yet to confirm this, Orda.kz reports.
On the morning of January 19, Ukrainian media reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had launched an ATACMS missile strike on Russian territory.
Censor.net wrote about this, citing its sources. As evidence, Censor.net cited the Ukrainian General Staff:
On the night of November 19, 2024, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the defense forces, inflicted fire damage on the arsenal of the 1046th logistics center in the area of the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. As of 2:30 that night, 12 secondary explosions and a detonation were recorded in the target area.
Astra also reported on the strike, citing residents who received messages about a missile threat last night.
Astra also mentions an artillery arsenal near Karachev. The Ukrainian authorities have not officially confirmed using ATACMS.
On the other hand, the Russian Defense Ministry has.
According to the department's information, the attack on the Bryansk region was carried out with six missiles.
As a result of the anti-missile response, combat crews of the S-400 and Pantsir air defense missile systems shot down five missiles and damaged one. Its fragments fell on the technical territory of a military facility in the Bryansk region, causing a fire that was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties or damage, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not specify what kind of military facility this was.
