Leading dancers from the Royal Danish Ballet held a master class for students of the Almaty Choreographic School named after A.V. Seleznev, Orda.kz reports.
The visit was organized through the Nomad Ballet Project, launched by Kazakhstani soloist Meyrambek Nazarkozhayev, who has been a member of the Royal Danish Ballet since 2018 under a lifetime contract.

Ten top artists from the Royal Danish Ballet — representing countries such as Canada, the USA, Portugal, and Japan — will perform a gala concert at the Almaty Theatre, showcasing the famed Bournonville technique.
Accompanying them is Dinna Bjørn, in the last photo above.
She is a former leading ballerina and a global ambassador of the Bournonville style.
During their stay, the troupe explored Kazakhstan’s natural landmarks, including Qolsay and Qaindy lakes, and expressed interest in returning for future collaborations.
