Ramzan Kadyrov Reportedly Rescued from Drowning While Vacationing in Bodrum

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov was reportedly rescued from drowning and rushed to a private clinic while vacationing on Türkiye's Aegean coast, Orda.kz reports.
The incident occurred on July 25 near the Kainar area of Bodrum, where Kadyrov was staying at a five-star hotel. According to reports, he began drowning shortly after entering the water.
Hotel staff were the first to notice what was happening and immediately called emergency services and the coast guard. Rescue workers and medics arrived on the scene and provided first aid on the beach, the statement said.
Kadyrov was taken to a private clinic, where doctors reported his condition as stable. He was discharged after a brief observation.
There have been no official comments from Chechen authorities.
Kadyrov previously responded to rumors about his health with a video reflecting on mortality, calling the discussions “gossip from mice” and insisting only God decides when a person’s life ends.
