QazaqGaz Reports Progress on Gas Infrastructure Projects During Parliamentary Committee Meeting

At a visiting meeting with QazaqGaz, members of the Parliament's Committee on Ecology and Nature Management learned about the single dispatch center's operations.
They were also told about how three settlements in the Jetysay district of the Turkestan region have been connected to gas online.
Committee Chair Yedil Zhanbyrshin emphasized the strategic importance of gas supply, noted ongoing legislative work on economical gas consumption, and praised QazaqGaz's domestic and international efforts.
QazaqGaz Board Chair Sanzhar Zharkeshov presented the company's achievements from 2022-2024 and outlined strategic plans through 2029.
He highlighted that QazaqGaz has invested approximately 700 billion tenge in modernizing the gas transportation system and successfully attracted investors for geological exploration projects.
Promising results have already emerged from two blocks.


Zharkeshov also provided updates on two strategic projects: constructing a gas processing plant at the Kashagan field with a 1 billion cubic meter capacity and progressing on the second line of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent main gas pipeline.
The parliamentary deputies stressed the importance of developing sustainable gas infrastructure, environmental responsibility, and efficient use of natural resources.
