QAZAQ AIR Airline Cancels Astana-Yekaterinburg Flights
QAZAQ AIR airline has canceled Astana-Yekaterinburg flights from December 28 to January 27, 2025, Orda.kz reports.
The company has assessed the risks of flights over Russia and decided to halt flights to Yekaterinburg until a re-evaluation is completed.
The airline will continue to operate flights to Omsk and Novosibirsk, which meet the QAZAQ AIR risk assessment criteria, the notice says.
Passengers of canceled flights will be reimbursed in full and offered the opportunity to rebook their tickets for alternative airline flights free of charge.
A few days earlier, a plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aqtau.
