Qasym-Jomart Toqayev Received Defense Minister Ruslan Jaqsylyqov

The President received Defense Minister Jaqsylyqov, who reported on the department’s work this year.
He spoke about the results of troop training, the autumn draft, discipline, and safety in Kazakhstan's army. Jaqsylyqov reported that special attention is paid to increasing the army's combat potential and new approaches to training.
Minister Ruslan Jaqsylyqov noted the arrival of new equipment and weapons, including unmanned aerial systems.
Qasym-Jomart Toqayev said it is essential to pay attention to the presence of Kazakhstan's peacekeeping contingent in the Golan Heights under the auspices of the UN.
He instructed his interlocutor to develop territorial defense.
