The Qaraganda region's Akim Yermaganbet Bulekpayev commented on President Toqayev's reprimand for his poor supervision of the heating season preparations, Orda.kz reports.
Journalists asked the Akim about the current situation.
As the regional head, I, of course, bear personal responsibility for the heating season preperation. Given the tasks set, we have mobilized and are actively working. We do this work every day. Of course, there are different situations, but even if problems arise, we will quickly resolve them, assured Yermaganbet Bulekpaev.
The Akim added that there are about 28 thousand kilometers of electric and more than two thousand kilometers of heating networks in the Qaraganda region. He emphasized that local authorities are making every effort to prevent incidents.
The Akim was also asked how the disruption occurred, given that the problem had been discussed in the summer.
I'll explain it in technical terms: the boiler station is built and ready. After the repairs are completed, a cold start is always carried out - a check of operation in an inactive mode, without the boilers burning. During such testing, everything seemed normal, but it is impossible to carry it out in the summer, as a certain temperature is required in the boilers. Therefore, the launch was postponed until October. As I already said, the problems were not with the boilers, but with the pumping equipment, explained Bulekpaev.
He said the pumps installed in the boiler room did not provide the necessary pressure. Therefore, the city had to switch to local boiler stations.
We currently have both local and central boiler houses operating. I personally visited all the sites, was in both this boiler station and the central one, and constantly kept the situation under supervision. When problems arose, I decided to switch the city to local boiler stations, added Yermaganbet Bulekpaev.
