Putin Says Russia and Azerbaijan Faced an Emotional Crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the investigation into the Aqtau air disaster is nearing completion and that “its results are clear," Orda.kz reports.
Speaking as a follow-up to his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Putin emphasized that Russia and Azerbaijan never experienced a crisis in interstate relations, but rather went through what he called a “crisis of emotions” following the tragic incident.
Putin expressed hope that both countries have now turned the page after the AZAL plane crash, which claimed dozens of lives near Aqtau.
