Donald Trump's administration has asked Russia to help establish communication with Iran on several issues, including the Islamic Republic's nuclear program and its support for anti-American regional groups, Orda reports, citing Bloomberg.
According to Bloomberg sources, Trump personally discussed this matter with Putin during a phone conversation in February. Later, high-ranking American officials addressed this topic during a meeting with their Russian counterparts in Saudi Arabia.
When responding to Bloomberg's questions, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that "Russia believes the US and Iran should resolve all problems through negotiations" and that Moscow is "ready to do everything possible to achieve this goal."
