The registration of a weapons production project was delayed for nearly two months, Orda.kz reports.
Prosecutors uncovered violations during the implementation of an investment initiative aimed at producing modern military equipment.
The Ministry of Industry and Construction reportedly failed to coordinate project documentation on time.
It took 47 days to form a negotiating committee, far exceeding the legally mandated 15 working days.
This is a project of a domestic investor related to the integrated organization of weapons production. In addition to the failure to meet the deadlines for the formation of the commission, the department also delayed the issuance of an industry opinion by nine working days and allowed the application review deadlines to be exceeded as a whole, the prosecutors said.
As a result of the supervisory review, the director of the relevant department within the Ministry was subjected to disciplinary action.
