Prosecutor General’s Office Announces Staff Rotation

Kazakhstan has carried out a large-scale rotation of prosecutors. The Prosecutor General’s Office told Orda.kz that the changes were planned, as the terms of several senior officials had expired.
By presidential order, Zhandos Umiraliyev has been appointed First Deputy Prosecutor General.
New prosecutors were named in two regions:
- West Kazakhstan Region — Nurbek Ulasbek Uly
- Mangystau Region — Serikkali Kushaliyev
Other appointments:
- Atyrau Region — Madiyar Basshybayev
- Jambyl Region — Berik Abilov
- Jetisu Region — Bauyrzhan Zhumakanov
- Qostanay Region — Marat Seksembayev
- Pavlodar Region — Almat Baishulakov
- East Kazakhstan Region — Timur Suleimenov
The position of Chief Transport Prosecutor was assigned to Berik Zhuyriktayev.
The press service explained the reshuffle as part of routine procedures:
"The prosecutors' terms of office have come to an end."
