Prosecutor Detained in Taraz

In Taraz, an employee of the regional prosecutor's office was detained on suspicion of fraud, Orda.kz reports, citing the Prosecutor General's Office.
The operation was carried out by the Internal Security Department of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Jambyl Region Prosecutor's Office with the regional KNB Department.
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by a special prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Other information in the interests of the investigation is not subject to disclosure, ”the department added.
According to our information, an employee of the regional prosecutor's office promised to resolve a migration issue for a bribe.
