President Qasym-Jomar Toqayev will travel to Abu Dhabi for the Sustainable Development Week summit on January 14-15, following an invitation from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to Aqorda.
The visit comes after Toqayev's recent signing of a law ratifying an agreement between Kazakhstan and France, which emerged from his participation in the One Water Summit in December.
The agreement includes provisions for a joint initiative to preserve Lake Balkhash.
