President Toqayev Meets with New Almaty Akim Darkhan Satybaldy

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev received the newly appointed Akim of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, Orda.kz reports, citing Aqorda.
During the meeting, Satybaldy presented his plans for improving the quality of life in the southern capital, enhancing the urban environment, and advancing the city’s socio-economic development.
According to Aqorda, the president outlined several key priorities for the new Akim. These include ensuring sustainable economic growth, diversifying the city's economic base, modernizing urban infrastructure, improving road and transport systems, and addressing environmental challenges.
Darkhan Satybaldy officially assumed the role of Almaty Akim on May 24, succeeding Yerbolat Dosayev, who had served in the position since 2022.
