President Signs Law Ratifying Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan Investment Protection Agreement
The Head of State has signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the promotion and mutual protection of investments,” Orda.kz reports.

The agreement aims to enhance the investment climate and support the continued development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It outlines measures to establish favorable conditions for investors from both countries.
The law defines the procedures and terms for establishing a supportive framework to strengthen economic ties. Specifically, it covers the implementation of investments by one party within the territory of the other, and the resolution of matters related to investment activities in both states.
According to the agreement, investments will be granted fair and equal treatment, along with full protection and security within the territories of both countries.
