Powerful Earthquake Shakes Türkiye

A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Türkiye, with the epicenter located in the Sea of Marmara, about 40 kilometers from Istanbul, Orda.kz reports.
Seismologists recorded multiple tremors, followed by a series of aftershocks.
This caused panic among locals and tourists, many of whom fled buildings and ran into the streets, fearing further jolts.
According to initial reports, there have been no casualties. Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has urged residents to remain outside and stay away from buildings as a precaution.
