Political Scientist Talks about Toqayev's New Year's Speech
Political scientist Gaziz Abishev has analyzed President Toqayev's New Year's address and identified key priorities for Kazakhstan in 2025, reports Orda.kz.
Abishev highlighted how the President emphasized human capital development, pointing to recent youth achievements:
Kazakhstani chess players won silver at the World Chess Olympiad. Kazakhstani schoolchildren won many trophies at international robotics competitions. Good results at subject Olympiads. In other words, talented children live in Kazakhstan, and our system allows them to blossom and achieve success on the world stage.
Toqayev also stressed infrastructure development, promising to continue building schools and hospitals until 2025. Support for youth emerged as a central theme throughout his address.
Talented, developed, and open youth are the foundation of the country's future. They will definitely be able to make our country one of the world leaders. We just need to do everything to keep talents in the country and help them to blossom. And Kazakhstan will definitely do it, Abishev concluded.
Toqayev has repeatedly spoken about human capital.
In April 2024, he called for Kazakhstani scientists abroad to return home and continue their research.
