Police Deny Bomb Rumors in Balkhash

Residents of Balkhash were alarmed by rumors of bombs planted in local schools, Orda.kz reports.
The messages spread through Telegram channels and social media, but police denied the claims.
“Officers inspected all educational institutions. No explosive devices were found,” the Qaraganda regional police department reassured residents.
Police have opened a search for those behind the false threats and urged people not to give in to panic.
