Point of No Return – Pashinyan on CSTO
Today, Armenia's Prime Minister said that the country considers itself outside the CSTO, Orda reports, citing the Caucasian Knot.
At the same time, despite its authority to veto, Armenia does not interfere with decisions made by the organization’s countries out of respect. Pashinyan declared this during the government hour streaming on the government YouTube channel.
Pashinyan also said Armenia's return to the CSTO is becoming increasingly difficult, if not impossible, as Armenia has crossed the point of no return.
Armenia does not participate in the discussion and decision-making, but it does not use the right of veto, as we are outside the CSTO. The rest can discuss and make decisions. We do not interfere out of respect for our partners, he said,
This was his response to Deputy David Karapetyan's question about Russian President Vladimir Putin's position on relations between Armenia and the CSTO.
