Phone Call between Putin and Trump Could Be in Coming Days or Weeks - Mike Waltz

Mike Waltz, tapped to be Donald Trump's national security adviser, revealed that plans for a meeting between Trump and Putin are already underway, Orda reports, citing ABC News.
Waltz outlined Trump's view that resolving the Ukrainian conflict requires direct dialogue with Russia.
He suggested that completely pushing Russian forces from all territories Ukraine seeks to reclaim, including Crimea, may not be realistic.
Notably, Waltz indicated that the US would press Ukraine to lower its military conscription age from 25 to 18 to boost recruitment numbers.
This measure, he explained, would help stabilize the front lines and potentially create conditions for negotiations with Moscow.
The statement aligns with Trump's recent claims about preparing for talks with Putin.
