According to the American side, the document could “invigorate diplomacy.” Zelenskyy intends to discuss the project with Trump, Orda.kz reports, citing the Ukrainian presidential office.
The office noted that both sides agreed to work on the plan’s provisions in a way that would “bring a dignified end to the war.”
From the very first moments of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has been striving for peace, and we support all meaningful proposals that could bring it closer. Since the beginning of this year, we have supported President Trump's proposals to end the bloodshed. We are now ready to work constructively with the American side and our partners in Europe and around the world to ensure peace results,
the statement says.
Zelenskyy plans to discuss the details of the agreement with the U.S. President in the near future.
Earlier, it was reported that the U.S. and Russian governments are secretly developing a comprehensive plan to end the war in Ukraine.
The plan consists of 28 points and covers four areas: ending the war in Ukraine, guaranteeing security, strengthening stability in Europe, and shaping future U.S. relations with Russia and Kyiv.
