The Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant (PNHZ) will temporarily halt operations for scheduled maintenance from June 18 to July 17, Orda.kz reports, citing KazMunayGas.
During this period, specialists will carry out examinations and technical inspections on more than 110 pieces of equipment and assess over 930 pipelines.
Several key units at the plant are also scheduled for major repairs.
The planned preventive maintenance work will be carried out in accordance with the schedule approved for 2025 by the Ministry of Energy. More than 1,100 people and 107 units of special equipment from contractors will be involved in it,
KazMunayGas noted.
To prevent any disruption in fuel supply during the maintenance period, the refinery will maintain a reserve of petroleum products: 50,000 tons of gasoline, 25,000 tons of diesel fuel, and 7,000 tons of jet fuel.
While scheduled work is underway in Pavlodar, the refineries in Atyrau and Shymkent will continue regular production to help meet demand.
