On January 28, residents of the 28th microdistrict of Oskemen took to the streets due to the lack of electricity since early morning, reports Orda.kz.
According to them, electricity had been cut off in their homes since 9:00, which led to the heating system shutting down. Police and city Akim Almat Akyshov arrived at the scene.
Local residents say that the power outage makes it impossible to use household appliances and cook food, and their homes are getting cold.
Residents approached me with complaints about the lack of electricity. As we know, electricity is connected to heating, and there are children in the homes now who need warmth. Such disruptions happen here not for the first time. Today, according to residents, no help was provided to them, commented public activist Alexandra Ismailova.
The city Akim stated that energy company specialists will be sent to the site to fix the malfunction.
He also said all residents' complaints would be investigated, and the problem would be resolved.
