Oskemen: Akim Announces Resignation

Zhaksylyk Omar has been heading Oskemen since August 2018, Orda.kz reports.
He announced his departure on his Instagram page.
This is due to the term of office ending,
Omar clarified.
Who will be his successor is unknown along with Omar's future plans.
Recently, activists from Ridder gathered in Oskemen to draw attention to environmental problems in the East Kazakhstan region.
