Individuals and legal entities can now apply for a license for pharmaceutical activities through the e-License portal, Orda.kz reports.
As of 2024, licensing is available for the wholesale and retail sale of medicines, as well as for their production and manufacture. This initiative simplifies the business process for entrepreneurs in the pharmaceutical sector.
To receive the service, the user has to:
- Log in to the elicense.kz portal, go to the "Health" section – "Licensing of the activities" – "Pharmaceutical activity"
- Select the required subtype of activity, click on the "Next" button
- In the service passport, review the package of documents and click the "Order service online" button
- Select a licensor, fill in the necessary information, and pay the license fee
- Sign the application using an electronic digital signature or QR code.
The cost of obtaining a license is ten monthly calculation indices (MCI), and the registration process takes 15 working days. While reissuing a license will cost applicants 10% of the established rate and will take only three working days, said National Information Technologies JSC.
