One Water Summit: Toqayev Arrives in Saudi Arabia

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev flew to Saudi Arabia to participate in the One Water Summit.
Toqayev arrived in Riyadh on a visit. The International One Water Summit will be held in the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Kazakhstan and France will co-chair the event, which the World Bank and Saudi Arabia will support.
Meanwhile, the President of Kazakhstan and the head of the World Bank Group, Ajay Banga, discussed the strategic partnership between the bank and Kazakhstan.
Toqayev said the total budget of joint projects in water resources, transport, and education is $3.5 billion.
The World Bank invests $650 million in the Kazakhstan infrastructure project under the Transport Resilience and Connectivity Enhancement Program (TRACE).
They discussed investments in developing the Middle Corridor (TMTM) and repairing the Jezkazgan-Qaraganda highway.
Banga confirmed his interest in cooperation and the implementation of large joint projects. Toqayev invited his interlocutor to visit Kazakhstan.
