A tragic crime has shaken the city of Janatas, Orda reports.
A nursery teacher disappeared on the morning of January 10 after leaving home to pay her son's tuition fees in Taraz.
Orda.kz's correspondent investigated the case.
The tragedy unfolded when the victim's husband became concerned after she stopped responding to his calls.
His initial inquiries revealed she never arrived at the university, prompting him to mobilize volunteers for a search effort.
The search ended in tragedy when the woman's body was discovered on the city outskirts, burned beyond recognition.
Police have apprehended a 34-year-old Janatas resident in connection with the murder.
During the operational search activities, a 34-year-old man was detained on the spot and placed in a temporary detention facility. The necessary investigative and operational actions are currently being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the crime, stated the Jambyl region police department's press service.
According to Orda.kz's law enforcement sources, while the perpetrator stole the victim's gold jewelry, the money she was carrying for her son's tuition remained untouched.
The victim was a respected educator with 22 years of teaching experience, including 11 years as a teacher-moderator at Aigolek kindergarten, where colleagues and parents highly regarded her.
She took one day off, took unpaid leave to go to Taraz and pay for her son's education. I started calling her after lunch, but her phone was switched off. It was strange: she always answered calls, even on vacation. She was highly valued as a teacher, she was needed,The School Director Galina Moroz told an Orda.kz correspondent.
